We are most happy to introduce to you our new 90m2 in two stories cosy cottage in the most beautiful place in Iceland, Hellnar 205km/2 hours drive from the capital Reykjavík. Surroundings of the National Park of the Snæfellsnes.
The cottage is with all comfortness needed to relax out in the country in total luxury. The house is comfortable and "COZY" for up to 4 people to stay and sleep. This is a New released private property and has never been rented out before. Suits perfectly for a great vacation in Iceland. The cottage is with up to date security system, just for insurance. The inside is with amoung traditional Icelandic artwork from the famous painter ERRO and his father Guðmundur from Miðdal. Some of the interior is Danish antigue from 1895, all to give the warm welcome of the old Iceland.
Orca whales are often spotted of the cost of Hellnar and it takes only 30 min by car to drive to Olafsvik, the deprature port of the BIG WHALE watching tours. There are also a lot of great hiking tours arround the cottage

The cottage is at you desposal at 16.00 hours on first rental date and you must depart the cottage no later than 13.00 og departure date.

NO LINEN OR TOWELS INCLUDED. /will be supplied at extra charge as shown above..
Guests are required to clean the house spotless upon departure or pay extra for cleaning service.

Jules Verne wrote that the door to the center of the earth was through Snaefellsjokull glacier. We believe that as well, expecially because we think the nature in West Iceland is amazing...almost the most amazing nature in the world.

Glaciers, lakes, rivers, lava, geysers, beaches this all you can see near the cottage.
Snæfellsjokull Glacier - the beautiful magnet of the Peninsula, 1446 m. It is an active volcano and provided the setting for Jules VerneÂ’s famous book “Journey to the Centre of The Earth”. Many believe the Glacier to be one of the seven main energy centres of the earth and its mystique is noticed by many. Undisputedly the main attraction of the National Park.

Excursions onto the Glacier are offered from the village Arnarstapi on the southern side. The magnificent view from the top extends to Reykjanes Peninsula on the south side and the West Fjords on the north side as well as over the mountains of Snæfellsnes to the east.
